Kopy Goldfields AB is a Swedish junior gold exploration company listed at NASDAQ in Stockholm with market cap of 11.5 MUSD. As for April 30, 2018 the Company had 4910 shareholders primarily from Scandinavia. The company operates in Lena Goldfields, Bodaibo, Russia, which has 150 years of mining history with 40 Moz of gold output, mostly alluvial. The Company holds 12 bedrock and one alluvial exploration and production licenses covering total 2,049 sq km. Total resource base under JORC is 1.9 Moz.
Key project of the Company is “Krasny”, which was discovered in 2011 and has been developed since 2014 as a JV with the Russian major producer GV Gold Krasny has 1.8 Moz of Inferred and Indicated resources, including 0.3 Moz of Probable reserves (JORC) for part of the mineralization, which is still open along the strike and to the depth. During recent years, an exploration program of >80,000 meters core drilling was done and resource reporting in accordance with JORC and GKZ; and currently PFS are ongoing along with more exploration.
In addition to Krasny, the Company holds 10 exploration and production licenses, grouped into two bedrock gold projects – Kopylovsky project with existing reserves and Maly Patom, a highly prospective greenfield project with an area of 1,852 sq km where the Company develops stream sedimentary and geochemical survey.
